Only a few weeks ago, we were feeling at home because we were back in France exploring the charming towns of Arras and Lille in Northern France, as we searched for delicious treats in the local bakeries and patisseries.

Our adventure began in Arras, a quaint town known for its rich history and fantastic architecture. As we walked along the cobblestone streets, we are always greeted by the inviting aroma of freshly baked croissants, pains au chocolat, and, of course, beignets.

Next, we went to Lille, a bustling city brimming with culture and beautiful sights. Here, amidst the bustling markets and charming cafes, we discovered a world of both traditional and modern bakeries and patisseries, offering us a glimpse into the diverse and vibrant world of French baking.

It was hard to choose, but our favourite bakery has to be one called ‘Mamatte’, an elegant chain of boulangerie cafes in France. From the elegant displays of freshly baked goods to the warm welcome of the staff, the cafe exudes an atmosphere of warmth and beauty that captures the essence of French charm.

Overall, we find ourselves always inspired by the towns of France. From the flaky, buttery layers of the croissants to the delicate swirls of a fruit tart, each pastry is a work of art in its own right. But amidst the array of delicious treats, it’s the beignet that steals our hearts. Simple yet indulgent, the beignet captures everything we love about French baking – light, soft, airy, and irresistibly delicious.

As we bid farewell to Arras and Lille, we’re feeling excited knowing that soon, Moi Mini Beignets will be delighting customers across the UK. From France to the UK, Moi brings something new to the UK consumer they didn’t know they needed!

Stay tuned for more updates as we prepare to launch Moi Mini Beignets in the UK. À bientôt!
